INNOCAMP PL is an organization within the ASHOKA network, specializing in social innovation projects, especially engaging diverse stakeholders in education for sustainable development through artistic activities and aesthetic learning. 

Beneficiaries of INNOCAMP’s activities include artists, managers or cultural animators, as well as drama teachers, theater instructors, or university lecturers using didactics based on aesthetic experiences and the study of cultural works as inspiration for implementing more sustainable social practices. The organization offered numerous forms of innovation pedagogy, including camps or appreciative inquiry that yielded greener and more sustainable solutions, such as building an urban bicycle culture in Gdansk or a circular economy in food or fashion. INNOCAMP PL runs workshops on intercultural communication, well-being retreats, and uncertainty management for corporate partners

LEADERS INNOCAMP PL

Magdalena  Jagiello-Rusilowska – CEO& Founder INNOCAMP PL is a businesswoman, researcher and social entrepreneur. She holds MA in logistics from University of Gdansk. She also studied Management of Research & Development. She was an Executive Director of Theatre in Education Association Wybrzezak where she supervised over 12 social innovation projects with youth at risk. She worked for Odyssey of the Mind World Finals as a Creativity Head Judge (University of Colorado, University of Maryland). 

Magdalena Jagiello-Rusilowska managed 3 EU funded projects at the University of Gdansk.She co-authored a guidebook for setting up innovation hatchieries and a model for higher education collaboration with working life. She is a certified trainer of INNOPEDA (TUAS, Finland). She served as an expert in Ashoka projects on teaching social innovation and service learning ( University of Iceland). She is also a certified manual therapist (Lone Serensen Institute) and well-being coach.

Adam Jagiello-Rusilowski, PhD 

Academic Director, INNOCAMP PL, ASHOKA fellow & board member

Educated in Poland (UG), USA (Columbia) and France (INSEAD), Ford and Ashoka Fellow, certified Innovation, Applied Creativity, Drama Improv and Service Leadership coach. After 25 years at academia as an intrapreneur and executive he came back to social weaving for multi-stakeholders’ alliances for systems change in education and technical recruitment. As an Ashoka fellow he runs or advises R+D+I projects empowering inclusive educators and underprivileged youth through a system of micro-credential courses and inner development retreats He is an advisor to Times Higher Education, Finish Ministry of Interior and a Visiting Professor of Innovation Pedagogy at several universities in Europe, Asia and Africa. He served as the Dean of International Affairs at Faculty of Social Sciences and as Head of International Office, University of Gdansk. He is the President of International Sustainable Education Foundation in the Hague, NL.
